WHAT ARE SOME FASHION RULES TO NEVER BREAK ?

• Don't wear black to a daytime wedding, or bright red or white to any wedding
• Don't wear white pants or dresses after labor day or before Easter, unless you're in a warm climate
• Don't wear hosiery or socks with sandals

• Don't wear open toe shoes when your toenails and feet look bad
• Only wear athletic shoes with athletic wear
• Don't wear dark chunky shoes with light summer dresses
• Don't wear sequins to work
• Don't wear overalls unless you're a farmer
• Don't wear jean jackets/shirts/blouses with jeans (double denim mistake), unless you mix the colors of denim. If they are the same, it just looks bad.
• Don't get caught with VPL
• Don't wear dark undergarments with white clothing that show through (at least to work)
• Don't mix gold and silver jewelry
• Don't wear a sport watch with an evening gown or cocktail dress
• Don't wear white socks with dark pants
• Don't wear mom jeans
• Don't wear pajamas in public, not even Starbucks
